Default I went to the track for the first and last time.

And ran a 17.2 (17.208, 17.242, 17.247) THREE times in a row. Here is one of my time slips. I think my car should run 16.9 stock. If I ever run again... I'll try and launch a little higher, but I doubt that'll happen.

My car was fully loaded with just over 3/4 tank of gas, heavy ass subwoofer, box and 2 amps.

It was only 5 bucks, so I figured why not. I probably won't ever run it at the track again, lol.

I might work on it again, probably not for a long long time. I always seemed to launch with little tire spin and not bogging down the engine. It would be pretty cool to have someone drive my car at the track with me in the passanger seat and observe a good/proper launch in a low horsepower FWD car.

better 60 times than a LOT of higher powered FWD's on this site. That's not a good thing.

aaron1017, just like gator said, you cant exspect to go out to the track your very first time and do great! it takes a lot of practice.

another thing is don't compare your ET's to that of a magazine, exspecially racing here in FL right now where its hot as hell and humidy is enough to choke ya! weather plays a big role in your times at the track.

don't give up man! just stay outta that water box, DRIVE around it, and keep practicing!
