Default A/C restoring

Anybody got a classic with a/c that needs restoring, like compressors, plenum boxes, hoses, and so on?

Yeah, is your car an original a/c car? and does it still have the complete system or is it missing some things?

Factory AC. I rebuilt the evap housing when I did the interior. Got the last (so they say) evap from Classic in Tampa when I did it. A friend of a friend told me I could have all the under pieces he had a while back. I never took him up on it, mainly becasue I just havent seen him since. Summer is comming, and that's one of the last few things I need to do. I need every thing under the hood except the water valve.

do u want to stay all original or would u not mind using aftermarket.? for example, would u want an original RV2 compressor or would u not mind having a sanden-type compressor, also, what size engine u got?

I got a 383. I don't care if its not OE parts. I'm not real hip on putting the OE RV-2 comp on it. Damn thing uses about 35hp, I got plenty to spare, but those things also weigh a ton too. I've seen those Sanden setups before. They look good, does the setup you get use the factory brackets?

u will have to use a mount kit to run a sanden. they r suppose to take less than 10 hp to run.
