MDF isn't airtight, fact or fiction?
I read around and a site said MDF wood isn't completly airtight and that you should run atleast 1 layer of fiberglass resin to plug up all the tiny holes in the wood. So what do you say guys, fact or fiction?

It's probably true in theory but the cone of your speaker probably leaks more air then MDF ever would.

Ill say i go by His and Al's thoery of "Your getting sprayed" Doesnt matter what it is. Grandma in the 1982 LTD is gettin the bottle.
The amount it would leak isn't going to make rat's chance in hell of a difference. Although I have seen people spray that rubber shit or even dynomat the interior of their boxes as an extra precaution. Not really worth it in my opinion.

Fact. Maybe i take my boxes to seoriusly. Fiberglass resin over the entire interior of the box with two layers of fiberglass mat on all the seams. No more air leaks.
