Thanks for the info kpr. It's good to hear an honest opinion from someone that actually listen's to both on a regular basis.

So, since you have probably seen the 9820XM in action the display can't possibly be any weaker (in bright sunlight) than the SONY CDX-C680 I have now right?

 

It didnt seem any weaker than any other of the green Alpines. I havent seen that Sony, but I dont think itll be too big of a problem.
