Need to get Speakers, Amps installed in new truck..Where should I go?
why not make a offer - if they ask for it - and i dont do it for free - my time is worth something (MECP MASTER) - they must be buying only buy price because if not they would not even ask - i do this as a hobby to feed my gas guzzler - i do not sell product - just labor - and i dont pimp out any one shop..............

MECP master? You should b able to get a job as a real shop
real shop - where around here pays $60,000 a year? for stereo install?
I own my business - and do stereo for fun and extra spending cash
i first was just basic installer - the shop i worked at in colorado paid by % of install
as basic installer i got 35% of install price
then I was security certified & up my % to 40%
then i got first class and bumped to 45%
the shop owner offerd to pay for the classes & tests if i passed to a master - bumped to 50%
i made about 1100 a week
that took about 2 years..
at one time i had 6 cars competing national in iasca - then i started in spl (my best 164.9) on 1000 watts (amp face ratings) traveled around trying to get points for nats.
and decided to come back home - tampa. and got out a car audio..
lately the itch is back and i am just doing it for fun - no more custom - go to SA for that
