alright imma explain the WHOLE story, this guy bridged my 2 12's on my amp, and it was kool like that for a few weeks but this other guy told me that wasnt good so i un did that and wired them each with a positive and with a negative. then my girl decides she wants to see the difference and turns and the bass and subwoofer all the way up then turns the volume up. that blew the fuses on the amp and when i changed those one of the 12's sounded like it's blown and the other one doesn't even work, i can't hear anything out of it. im a beginner at all this and im asking this ? so i can get good at it. so my ? is if my subs are blown now is there a way that i can fix them, and how can you tell if they are blown. is there anything that notice on the sub that you would know that it's blown or not? thanks.
push down on them if thay dont move thay are/is thay go down and sound like crushing riceCrispies thay are/if u take them out and the spider it burnt thay are......i would say hook another wire up from the radio and test them good luck

Probably Speaker Exchange, out on Hillsborough. They also used to have a place down in the st. pete / pinellas park area. They do 'recone' speakers, but I don't know if they can use Kicker components...most manufacturers don't like rebuilt stuff floating around that they didn't rebuild themselves.
I think I'd buy new ones, and confirm the wiring before you turn them on.

If you wanna learn to do it yourself, pay a shop to do it the first time and pay close attention to what they're doing. Make sure your amp and subs are good quality stuff, in the world of car stereo if you buy cheap you get cheap. If the subs are blown you're way better off just buying some new ones.
