a guy brought this sub into CC the other nice.... the surround was torn all the way around and so they decided to silicone it back togethre

I've seen subs repaired similarly...never to that extent though. Do you know what shop this was supposedly done at?

 

mild to wild is what the guy told us. its located off bearss right next to nebraska/41 and where 275 guys over bearss

ive had work done by them..slop artists..if i owned a shop i would let that sub leave my shop like that or come in my shop for that matter..instead of a fix y not replace

btw...that sub is just sad...

 

oh thank God, i see that place everytime i come home from work or USF.. I was actually thinking about going in there for some stuff, now that i see that im glad i never went and now im not going to! haha.

 

Not defending those guys, but I'd like to know the entire, true story behind that.

I've had a couple of customers come in and ask me to install something they brought with them. Come to find out, the equipment is either broken, crap, or both. When I point it out, they say something like 'yeah, it was my brothers. I just need some bass...can't you just rig something up? I don't care what it looks like'. I take a pass, but I'm sure a couple of shops get sucked into this.

Then, at the next shop, same guy says...'I don't know. The idiots at xxxx shop must have done that without telling me.'
