Default Who can make me a good box?

I'm looking for a nice ported box, preferrably for a single 12" solo L7. problem is its going under the rear seat of my new quad cab ram. If you know you can help me with this as well as some other audio installs (sirius install, flip out dvd brain install, possibly amps, navigation) please let me know. Thanks.

I am currently mastering single sub enclosures. I've built 4 this month for the same 12" sub trying to get the most spl out of it. so far I've gotten to 137db but I have the feeling my latest box will put me very close to 140.

Unfortunately I wont be available till the 5/31 to schedule onsite installs again. I do very clean and thorough work (with references) for ridiculously cheap prices. check out my business website www.notladstyle.com

If you are looking for a shop I recommend T&J Customs in oldsmar (PM TJelite on TR) he hosts the monthly tr audio meet.

I don't mind a shop or an individual doing the work. I can actually do everything but the box I want (I probably could except I don't know how to make boxes tuned or ported really) but wouldn't mind paying for quality and exactly what I want. This is a brand new truck so I want everything looking mint. The problem is under the rear seat there are 2 like storage "bins" but they are not square in shape. I need to get 2 cubes or close to it up to 3 cubes. But I would like to have the sub in the middle higher up and be able to mount identical amps on each side lower an inch or so.

Bottom line, what are you going to charge roughly? I will be in las vegas until June 3rd so your time is not the biggest deal. Just let me know through PM I guess. Thanks.

I know I know I think it can be done. Probably on one side where there is a bin thing and just use the whole space across to the other side to get enough space for the enclosure. Guess I'll just see what people say. I definitely want an L7 though. Even if I have to go to a 10" I guess.

If your setup is what I beleive it is, you arent gonna get 3 cubic ft down there, you might get two. You definitely arent gonna get enough space to properly build a ported box and you will definitely have to construct most of the box out of fiberglass.

A 10" L7 will be a little easier to port and will prolly sound better overall in that space.

I'm proficient with everything fiberglass except finishing it. I used to have a friend who could do it but he moved out of town. I usually hit up 15/hr and I buy the resin retail - you can prolly find it cheaper online.

You may want to do some research on prefabs, this one was 100 on ebay and offers 1 cuft. you might be able to find one that meets your needs.

Yeah, I've done 10's under there and it's really tight even then. You're looking at a fiberglass enclosure either way though...so I'd expect to spend atleast $500.

Use to do a single sub setup for $300 to $400, dual sub for $500 to $700 all the time. Use to do a setup like that about every other week in those trucks.

So $350 for labor/parts for a box for a single 12" L7? And it will be ported correctly and everything? I'll be looking around, but you sound pretty damn reasonable. Would probably just pay you to install my amps and everything so I don't have to mess with anything at all. Let me start ordering my shit and give you a PM or something. Will be about 2 weeks until I get back from Vegas though.
