What is about the right airspace a 12w7 needs? I'm not sure how accurate JL specs are.

google "winisd" put the t/s specs in there and then click the optimal enclosure specs for the best response, or play around with the volume calculations until you get the frequency curve you want.

I've built a box for every sub JL makes....their specs are dead on. They didn't become one of the most respected car audio companies in the world without a good deal of R&D.

Good look on that folk!! I bet them W6v2s bang in that hatchback. Right now I'm doing one 12w7 off a 1000/1 just in a ported box, but will be doing 2 12w7s each off a 1000/1 ported into my rear deck with the subs facing up cut into the rear deck later this year.
