you use dual 3 ohm subs when you run them in 3's. the jl 12w6's are dual 3 ohm and the audiobahn alum12q's are dual 3 ohm. when you run 3 subs you have to go with dual 3 ohm and there arent too many options in dual 3 ohm. you can go with the jl's for about 450 a sub or the audiobahns for about 150 a sub.
