actually, they are dual 6, as your diagram shows. Wired in parallel, that gives 3 ohms. 3 in parallel, gives 1 ohm.

This is a really nice sounding sub, by the way. We had one in our escalade.

Just because they can be wired into 3 ohms, doesn't mean they are dual 3 ohm coils mr. sphincter licker

this is the wiring diagram for 3 dual 3 ohm subs

I need a 1 ohm stable amp that is putting out around 3000 watts.
The old 12 w6's were dual 6 ohms and last time i checked they stopped selling them atleast 2 years ago when the w6v2 came out. And if you thought about paying 450 for the old w6's you deserve to be called an idiot. So good job on the research...

O and if you really wanna argue about it or say me or any one else is wrong then here is a pdf for you to look at JL Audio: Discontinued subs click on the link scroll down the page and click on the 12w6. It gives you all the information about any of the w6's.

LOGIC? You seriously want to invoke logic in a conversation about fake hijackings, missiles hitting the pentagon, and bombs planted throughout the world trade center? I thought it was a given that logic was checked at the door when entering one of these threads.
