Default Help with Alarm/Radio

Ok here's the deal, i baught a Alpine XM Wma/MP3 player cd head unit at circuit city and had it installed about year and some months ago, from the time i baught it until the time i had my alarm installed the CD player worked great.

Now in january i had a Viper alarm installed at this car alarm place and my cd player has been waked out, it freezes the screen, some times it doesn't allow me to eject cd's, sometimes i can't do anything on it until i turn off the car and disconect the battery.

I called the place that installed my alarm and they said oh well its bad wrong harness, so then i was like its not wrong harness cause i bought the correct harnes that would plug instead of cutting wires. then he was like well we can look at it but its probably a bad headunit.

its sounds to me like he trying to pass the problem somewhere else when it looks to me its his companies fault they installed the alarm and since then its been f*d up.

what should i do, continue to insist it was their fault? I mean this is a nice cd player not some cheap old dual cd player.

has anyone ever heard of this happening to anyone else?

unless your cd player was hooked up to the same wiring as the alarm it wouldn't have any connection. even if the alarm was hooked up wrong, like power wire to ground and ground wire to 12v, the head unit shouldn't be affected. If anything the alarm would fry, but the only thing on those alarms that I have personally seen fry is the the output channels when a shop hooked them up wrong.
