Default Hey so my 300/4 and 500/1 have an issue

I think one or two of the allen screws are stripped. They are recessed so I cant dremel some slots in, and really tiny so I cant get many tools in. Any ideas?

Kind of hard for him to just swing on by since he lives in Ft Myers.

LOGIC? You seriously want to invoke logic in a conversation about fake hijackings, missiles hitting the pentagon, and bombs planted throughout the world trade center? I thought it was a given that logic was checked at the door when entering one of these threads.

you can try this:

get some wd40 and lightly spray down a q-tip, grease up the walls of where the recessed screw is located. Try as best as possible to not get wd40 on the actual screw at all.
Get whatever allen key fits the best (or fit at one time) for the screw. Get a heat gun, let it get to optimal heating, and then quickly squeeze a decent size blob on the end of the allen key.
Put the key in, pushing down hard and into place the allen key into the screw, let it harden. Then while pushing down hard and slowly, turn it loose. You might need to try again with even more glue if the first time it breaks.

That's about the only idea I can give, sorry.

I had this problem back in the day. Toby actually took care of it for me, but what he had to was use an extractor (can buy at lowes or walmart) and I could find any screws with that small of a head so we had to drill out the black piece so teh bigger head screw fit.

Yeah, thats all I could come up with, epoxying in an allen key, or at least getting the allen key to be the same size. I could just dremel down the surrounding plastic and then try to get into the screws.

The glue method works pretty good, have had to do it before!

From memory, that screw won't come out through the access hole...I think that's why I had to drill it out on 727's amp. Other than that, its a simple job for an ezout.
