What would you guys recommend for sound dampening? I know Dynamat is the most popular, but what's the most EFFECTIVE?

Keep the bullshit out of this thread. What I'm trying to ask is if you'd recommend Dynamat, or Nuprene (not Neoprene, but Nuprene), Hushmat, etc.

in before the negative me?

Best way to sound insulate is to just make things more solid and heavy. Which is what dynamat is designed for. As far as products go, I am not experienced with the varying types, but from first hand experience, dynamat and rammat are both great products. TJElite sells it for a good price and is extremely flexible.

And I don't care what 88redrex says, he makes me lol.

LOGIC? You seriously want to invoke logic in a conversation about fake hijackings, missiles hitting the pentagon, and bombs planted throughout the world trade center? I thought it was a given that logic was checked at the door when entering one of these threads.

I can't think of any other reasons. it's one of those things you kind of are screwed with unless you're an installer or you have many different cars.

Not the negative you...I just thought it looked better than "IBTP057".

I've been doing my research, and I'm liking this:

dampening FTL. build, port, and aim your box properly and you dont need to weigh your car down with layers of glue and aluminum.
