I brought my h/u off of somebody on TR (Gloveman) and it didnt come with a sleeve or cage (its called either one) for my Clarion ProAudio DXZ945MP....if you dont know what im talking about, its the sheet of metal that goes around the h/u.

If you know a place where i can get one lmk...or if you have one yourself...ill buy it off of you

 

lol buy a clarion from worst buy and return it without the cage? otherwise have to order one from clarion parts / repair

 

well it was worth it...if you look up the model number..you'll understand

 

model has nothing to do with it though.. cages are universal by brand, as long as you get the same DIN by the same brand it should be the same cage. Cages generally only change every 5-6 years.

 

Go to Circuit City... They have 100's of those things piled up! If youre cool w/ them, they will most likely give you one for Zero Dollars!!!!

^^^ Just went and got one for my Alpine... my old one was loose but he gave it to me for free.. he would have to go to a shop that sells clarion though, could try Audio Empire.

Any shop that carries/installs clarion should have a bunch of extras lying around that they would be willing to give you for nothing.
