So everything has to be weather-resistant, stealth, AND space-savvy.

Doing a sealed eD 7kv.2 under each seat off an Alpine mrp-m450, 2 pairs of Alpine Type-S 6.5 coaxials, and a cheapy Kenwood KDC-135 deck (being I've already had 1 cd player stolen out of it). Will probably upgrade the deck to an Alpine in near future....if the current isn't stolen. Nothing will look out of the ordinary other then the aftermarket deck. Sub boxes are going to be fiberglass resin'ed on outside and sprayed with truck bed liner to help weather proof them. Nothing spectacular, but a nice little addition to an open-air, offroading Jeep. Will post some pics when completed.
A buddy of mine put all marine gear in his. Sounded pretty good. I think alpine makes marine amps and subs that can handle a little bit of water getting on them, and his head unit could take all the water getting on it
when he washed out the inside of the jeep. Just another idea for you

What are the specs/dimensions on your ported box? And how much power are you throwing at those things? I'm planning on giving mine about 200w rms a piece.

John, You need to check out my suburban tailgating machine. I went with tactile transducers under the front seats, a set of 8's and tweets (made coax) in fiberglass kick panels, a TL 8 as a center console (it and kicks are coated in bedliner), and a hidden, protected CD player, that is controlled by a Pioneer CD-MR80D marine remote unit (designed to be mounted on swim platforms, etc.), which is also hidden behind a motorized panel.

oh yeah, the suburban is now a big convertible.

I based it off this

Free Ported Subwoofer Plans brought to you by SubwooferTools.com [insert slogan here]

but adjusted to fit the back of my truck. They are off my 500/1 right now. I had them in a too small sealed and they were weak as hell.

What size was that one? I'm doing about .23 sealed per sub....eD recommends around .20 sealed.
