Default need help

put in a set of JL Audio XB-SPTM battery posts into my new d3100 powermaster battery.. and they were too long! I need posts that aren't as long with a round top, powermaster recommended theirs (doesnt ship until 04/07 on summit?) or stinger, looked at the stinger and they do not have a round top would not work well with my battery terminals..

but thats not the bad part.

The bad part is that when I proceeded to remove the posts, the negative came right out, but the positive connector got "reamed" out. Instead of having the opening for allen key now, it has an actual whole.. and I can't grip it with pliers, as the darn thing has a sleeve on it.. can anyone out there with a tap/bolt remover set come over and take the darn thing out safely?? I don't want to waste all the money I just paid for the thing, and I doubt powermaster would warranty it for JL's cheap part..

I live near east bay/roosevelt & us 19.. if anybody could take 5 seconds on their why past my street and take it out it would be greatly appreciated! Could even throw a beer your way if your over 21.. lol
