A kick panel? Umm take you kick panel, fiberglass it to house a speaker and tweeter.

Get 5x7 Type R full range speakers and call it a day.

 

sounds good, thats what im going to end up doing.

 

my last system i had my head unit allowed me to take all the bass out of my (door)speakers and crank up the highs and just let my subs do all the bass. This put less stress on the speakers so you and turn the volume 2 or 3 times higher.

 

thats what i have it doing right now but thats also why im buying a 4chan amp with this new set up cause the head unit is only pushing 50watts if even that and the rms of the type r's is 100...

 

I won't even bother.. SMH.

 

Doesn't Alpine have their crap manufactured in korea/chine/thailand now?

I would go with a company that has their stuff manufactured in a non third world/industrial country. Like Blaupunkt.
