Lol check out the big brain on Dalton (no Pulp Fiction)

You can take all the math you want, but real world experience > classroom numbers.

Show me ANY tangible gains by using 0 over 4 in this application.

* numbers > popular myth

Re-do the big 3 on his car with 4 gauge and compare voltages. Find a car running 3000 watts and do it with 4 and 0 gauge, and compare voltages.

You should know numbers mean nothing in car audio. If they did, the Pioneer truck should be the loudest car in the world, hell it only has probally 5x if not more the cone area and power than the car that is louder than it (single 1.

well no, if you actually rewired the car I would facepalm. I was thinking more along the line of some links to any type of testimonial that someone upgraded their 4ga wire to 0ga and got a marked improvement...

and they cant have 4 alternators because I only found one link and he had 500amps of charging current and all the batteries in the back.

You are the one trying to dis prove the "myth", I am not going to spend the time searching for something that is believed by almost everyone in the industry.

i can say that i just put in a 200 amp alt in my car that already had 4 ga charging wire which i left in because of time. i later went back and changed it to 0 ga. didnt change anything at idle, but while bangin the piss outta it i stayed almost a full volt higher not only that but it kept my 30 second average up almost a full DB also . so if you ask me i dont care what any book says.it makes a difference besides i dont take books to the shows and no book has brought me any trophies . dont get me wrong that shit has its place. and is good to know but results speak for themselfs

i think i may perform this tommorow. because my alt wire is puny i mean im not running a stereo anymore but still it would create some hotter spark and improve idle quality a little bit i would imagine. thanks 727 for the pics

never been proven that bigger actually IS better because there is only so much current running through the wire and there's no way to prove it since there is no difference.

So I already proved my point with the numbers... and the fact that the extra fuse block adds more resistance than even an 8ga run of straight wire between the alt and battery would and that's not arguable.
