Big 3 Installed for Kyleisme
Big 3 Installed for Kyleisme
For those who don't know what the Big 3, it is bascially upgrading your stock wires to a higher gauge wire. In this case 0 gauge was used. It is called the big 3 because it involes 3 wires (obviously lol) 1. Block to Chasis 2. Chasis to Battery - 3. Alt to Bat +.
1. Block To Chasis (Second pic is hard to see it is hidden)
2. Bat - To Chasis
3. Alt to Bat +

Finally, a picture and a description of the Big Three. A sticky might be nice.
Only thing you may want to check into Kyleisme, they make actual gold battery post terminals specifically geared towards car audio. These cheaper auto parts store replacements are known to end up with tons of corrosion quickly. You can get the pro gold terminal ends for as cheap as $10 a piece from any audio shop and you insert each power wire tip into a closed capsule (like into an amp). The wire is then secured with a screw and there are multiple outlets. Looks a ton cleaner also and the gold is not as apt to corrosion. All wires also exit from the same side of the terminal.
Unfortunately, you will get corrosion on that terminal in our wonderful Florida climate within a couple of months.

from him $20.. and decided to throw the fuse in there and he tossed that to me for $15.. so he charged me $35...
$20-installation
$15-150anl fuse and holder
$27- 6 connectors..
$60- 30ft knu konceptz 0ga wire..(Not all for Big 3... obviously lol.. only used about 4-7 feet.. didn't measure)
so $142 for everything.. plus 23+ feet of wire left for other goodies down the road..

Ya it is.. it boosted my volt of car off from 12.4 to 12.8-13.2.. car on system not bumping from 14.4 to 14.4-14.7.. system pretty good bumping used to drop from 14.4 down to 12-11.9... Now it holds it in the 12.8-13.4 area.. I still can't SLAM it for to long or it goes in the 11.9 area so i need a deep cycle and will go from there with updates..
Sounds like it helped a good bit. You may have already mentioned it, but what kind of car do you have?
looks like a pretty descent install but you may want to check into that fuse connection looks like it has some bare wires around the plastic cover... also something good to invest in witch is cheap would be a circut breaker and a battery isolator both can be got for about 50 and help alot... not really the circut breaker but the isolator does if running boom and a 2nd battery...
