Luke, I love the fiberglass work on that candy red impala!

Matt, the wife's whip trumps mine I surely can't let her see what you got your lady rockin' -- or she'll be demanding an upgrade

Honestly the Strut stuff is just silly. It's nice product for sure, but in no way is it worth anywhere near what it costs. If I had a giant pile of spare dough and wanted to look spiffy, maybe then I'd buy one. But I dunno. For the same $$ (or less) I could likely have one totally custom made that nobody else in the world has. E&G stuff always looks good, we've used it a couple times in the past. Probably my favorite grille company out there actually.

Josh, that upgrade for the wifey was a long time in the coming-trust me on that one.

Luke, the guy Jeff that works for me loves to do metal fabrication in his spare time and he came across like 20 different styles of mesh (including all the manufacturers exact matches) at Tampa Steel. They sell it by the sheet but it is raw. It would have to be chromed but the cool thing is, you would have the choice and could paint it instead. We are going to experiment (he has every welding tool you could imagine).

One lucky employee or family member is going to get a free custom experimental grille. I just need to find someone local who does chrome dipping. Do you know of anyone locally? I think we can actually make grilles and custom stuff like that MUCH cheaper than the aftermarket is selling them for.

:edit:
and most would probably want it in black

Thanks! I called two local places that I had leads on today and both are out of business. Not good...

Black we can do almost right away since we already have a powder coater shop. Are they wanting the fine mesh style like on the Escalades posted above? Or something else.
