Amp Problems??

Default Amp Problems??

my amp is not in protection mode
the green light is on...
it plays bass through my subs
but it weird bass...
doesnt match up with the music...
and it keeps doing it even when i unplug the rca's
im pretty sure it got wet but that was about 3 days ago...
i didnt test it lately cause i had no reason too
until i got my new subs 2day...

Well, it might be rescued. Disconnect all power and remove cover. Use a blow dryer to completely get rid of all remaining moisture. One step past that-set the amp in the sun with the cover off and let mother nature do its thing.

If it is still noisey after that, one or more of the MOSFET chips is probably fried. May still be repairable though if the amp is actually worth it. What kind of amp is it?

And on another note, how in the hell do so many people here get their amps wet? I understand if it is in a boat, Jeep, etc but it should not be mounted anywhere close to where water could ever get to it? Just curious...

well the amp is definently worth it.
1600 watt rms brutus hifonics class d
and my trunk seal is bad so im pretty thats how the water got through
cause it was raining real bad...
