Default Fiberglass half doors for my dakota

Well i finally got around to getting some time to work on my own truck... Door is far from finished it still needs to be re wrapped in tweed (Just covored it in something cheap to get it in the truck) Also waiting on the speakers and still need to finish the trim strips that break up the line where the new panel and factory panel meet. Also need to etch the plexi with our logo and wire in the backlighting. Id say its about 60% done. The doors are build to hold an 8 and 2 6s and will be using all whip audio mid drivers. Enjoy the pics more to comE!

Looking alright man. You should make a pod for that tweeter tho, something to help accent the bottom of the doors.

You gonna wrap that upper cloth part by the armrest in tweed as well?

Yeah I was thinking about the tweeterpod as well, Yes i will be wrapping the upper insert as well and maybe the armrest part im not sure on that yet. Mainly I want to work on getting the trim piece where the halfs meet done and get the plexi finished, Right now it still has the protective plastic on it and is still clear so you can see into the door. Getting there though im just glad to have it in, I cut the panels a LONG time ago and rode around with half a door panel for too long lol

Oh sorry I should have cleared that up, "our" Is a local group of competitors from the port richey/hudson/springhill area called Area 51. Groups been around for many years staying mainly pretty local but containing many talanted people. One of whom I must give credit for is my good friend harry who helped out with the doors, He works for excess auto

Yes, good job. I too am not crazy about the AudioPipe tweet screwed into the door. Definately need to rework that piece to blend. If not, it will cheapen the nice work you have done to the lowers. Keep it up!
