condensation might be a problem, but the most likely culprit is a separated solder lead from the PCB board - when the solder cools, it contracts braking contact with the traces that carry current across the circuit board. As it heats, the solder expands closing the circuit.

This is a common problem with Honda primary fuel pump relays.

If it is a factory Chrysler stereo, it is junk now. These are very common to fail after 4-5 years. Cheaper to replace. The last customer we did a replacement on with a Sebring (same factory radio as yours) got a $345 quote from the Chrysler dealership on a swap out.

Do you have speakers that don't run through an amp? If you do then do they stil work? If you dont then I would hook a speaker up so that you can Isolate if the problem is with your amps or your head unit. You should check this and then repost.

Yeah first you need to isolate whether it is an external amp, or if its the headunit. If its an external amp, it will be a lot easier.

You want to take it apart, flip the board over and take a look at all the solder welds. It will probably be one of the bigger welds connecting a capacitor or a choke coil to the board. Just take your solder and reseat all the welds, try to keep them clean. If needed, add a little extra solder but BE CAREFUL! even when the amp isnt powered, you can still short circuit the board and ruin it if you spill solder over.

The HU board is much harder, there are several parts to it and reconstructing it when you are finished will be very difficult.

Good luck~
