I work for the one in pc and it sux. time to go job hunting. ^ To answer your question just go to the store and ask for the assurant info because that is the thrd party who will be backing your warranty up.

To see 33,000 people losing their jobs sucks, but everyone who has half a brain could see it coming from miles away, well before the previous store closings. I had been hoping CC stayed around long enough for my move back here last August so that I could transfer and not have to scramble for a job, and that was 5 months ago.
I spent just shy of 5 years there and had some fantastic times working with people who have become some of my best friends, but each store is different. I don't defend Circuit City on the forums, and didn't when I worked there, because unless you know the specific installer, there are good and bad installs everywhere, no matter whether big box or independent. 12 volt aside, Circuit City made some unbelievably terrible decisions that led to their quick downfall. There were however some good installers left at various cc's despite their overall negative reputation, so best of luck to them.
Those are my comments.
