I'd think about making some cover pieces for the amps and sub so that it flushes the floor. when i had the nicer set up in my lexus i did that, used some metal mesh and acoustics cloth for over the sub. When the covers where on it almost looked like nothing was special in the trunk.

You've obviously never heard a properly driven 12W6 in an enclosure like that. You need to swing by our shop and listen to the sound board for a taste. I am quite sure you will take back that statement rather quickly.

1 12 is all you ever need if it's done right, one 10 in smaller cars. my single 12 would put out enough bass to over power my highs (about 1200 watts pushing rainbow audios) and i couldn't take it in the car that loud.
i currently have 3 8's. that's only bc they were free bees and a buddy really wanted my old set up. once i have time i'll rebuild the box and have a sleeper 2.0 built in the trunk, and it also puts out more bass than i ever need.
remember less is more

Give it time. I used to be a bass head like you, but I been slowly going away from that. 10 years from now doubt I will want anything that is even close to 145
