It looks like multiple speakers are on the same channels. I love the idea of running active (I did it for quite some time) but I think you are outdoing it. An active set up is supposed to be pieced together with speakers. IMO you would get better results dropping the 50.4 and using the 100.4 to run a 2-way active set-up or keeping it and going with a 3-way.

It is going to turn out much more difficult than you think to properly do your crossovers on all the speakers (actually impossible if you are running two different speakers on the same channel and to tune everything.

took out the extra set of kicker tweets, tuning the midrange to the smaller midrange (should be narrower frequency.. will test and see). The point is not to be active, although it will achieve that goal, but to not have the highs/mids drowned out by the massive amount of excursion. The amps aren't even providing teh active matrix, although they will still be lp/hp.. that is controlled by the optix10. The only things that will be sharing a channel are the critical mass. Either that, or i can leave the 5 1/4 running off the head unit, as they are now.

I haven't had a chance to get it all together yet, will try a bunch of configurations once the amps are actually wired up. Decided to wait until I had better circuit protection, didn't want to risk anything with how much wiring I now have in the car.

Actually pretty unhappy with how it all turned out looks wise.. maybe going to rip it all apart again and start over with a new design.

Got any pics? I can shoot a few tips to make it that extra clean look if needed.
