anyone repair cd players?

Default anyone repair cd players?

i have a avic d3 after some idiots broke in my car they tryed pryin it out with a screw driver and bent the top down on the cd player now it only says reader error on the bottom of the screen and wont eject cd back out nor play it
anyone fix these things??

We can send it to Pioneer's authorized service facility in Clearwater. They are closed to the public and will only take equipment from authorized dealers with a Pioneer acct. number. I have seen them fix D3s anywhere from $85 to $250 plus shipping. They tend to be a little slow however. Takes about three days to get an RA, one day to ship over there (they do not take walk ins), 2-3 weeks for estimate/repair, then a couple more days for them to ship the piece back. Round trip is usually 4-6 weeks. Kinda sucks I know. But if you find no other way, LMK...
