My favorite part of this whole thing was watching the inspection process about 9 minutes in. Back when inspections and templates were much more crude than in today's NASCAR, pretty much eyeball and guesstimate how the cars fit. Back when it all wasn't as strict with the LIS station and teams would try to find the gray areas of the NASCAR rulebook and push the boundaries of what you could and couldnt get away with. As a bit of a technical-nerdy car guy, I LOVE seeing the whole play-acting and gamesmanship that would go on about the cars
