you might want to look into that, as it is far from true, but if you think that then more power to you.

I drive hard on my car with a jdm b16 swap, as for engine mods I hav minor bolt ons, dc sports exhaust, removed cat, aem short ram intake, aem adjustable cam gears, msd coil, ngk spark plugs, denso iridium plugs. when I drive in city and rev frem 4.5k to 7.5k I still get 28mpg, and now with easier driving I get over 30 in city, I have also seen 40mpg on the hwy. so yes a 10s daily driver is and has been done, and when done right you will loose some economy but not that much, especially when compared to some domestic gas guzzler that is lucky to see 28mpg on the hwy.

wow, i think my IQ is now lower having read that. I dont think you know what it would take to get a full interior honda to run 10's vs. a mustang.

hey guys keep the talk to bikes, kender, if you want to race that 10s honda vs my 12 second bike lets give it a go..

yeah, I have a 2001 Suzuki SV650, pretty much stock... and I would agree totally with letsrollagn's last post...

welcome kender...go for a yamaha or honda 600, drive it for a while and when you get sick of it...sell it for what you bought it for. A 600 is more than enough for you now (you won't flip it unless its sprocketed or you goose/clutch it up so don't worry, the most you'll do is pop up a little and go back down)...you should be able to find one for $2000

Kender I hate to bust your bubble man, but you're retarded if you think that anything you wrote in your last two posts is true

if ya'll think so then I must be wrong, as well as the other civic owners that have already put 500+hp into their car and beaten some of the top sports cars, to include porche, viper, and corvette.

clint, as soon as my car hits 10's I think it might be fun just for the hell of it, but since I am working on the car as an ongoing project right now and not yet there I sit back and watch.

as for car performance advice from you domestic guys, when I need advice on a car that needs more than 3 liters to get over 200hp then I'll hit you up, but since I have been getting all the info I could find on hondas for several years now I think I will rely on the info from the folks that have done it as opposed to the guys that just see the results getting smaller through their wind shield.

and not to turn into a flame war but you can't loose I.Q. points when your original test came back negative.

you don't have to believe anything in my last posts, think its b.s. great, but unless you have a 10s domestic then at one point you will be beat by a honda that is running on half the engine you are.

anyways my main reason for posting was to get info on the bikes so any info there is appreciated and the rest....well go back to domestic car tech and vent your frustrations there.

kender, I think you are twisting your arguments up, thats all man... if you are trying to say that you can go buy a civic, and run 10's for less money and effort than a mustang, I'd have to disagree, but yes, there are some bad ass little civics out there, but they arent cheap....

Thought this was a bike tech forum? How is it the almost every post is about a 10 sec full interior/system honda that gets 28mpg?
