Well when i sat on the gixxer i fell in love with that comfortable ass gel seat. Stance was nice not to aggresive. i have yet to sit on or ride a new R1 so i need to go up to barney's and sit on one. I rode a 01 R6 about a year ago it was ok but i know what you mean when you say they are twitchy. It was real responsive, i figure i will just keep on reading.
Thanks for the input

Derek

I havent heard many good things about those bikes, all i heard is they make a nasty amount of power.

yep.......good powerplant. not a bad bike, but not as good as either the gixxer or r1. personally would go with a the gixxer, but they are both nice bikes. see if you can't get a little seat time on both. then make your decision. the gixxers are known for comfortable seats, but the ergonomics are usually a little more harsh than the others.

the kwak (zx-10r) won sport rider magazine's liter bike comparison, and i've read a few other mags where it finished either 1 or 2 (only behind the R1).

the thing has tremendous power, it's light, and stable in the turns. in one of the british magazine's i bought, they put it at 4th or 5th, but the ONLY negative thing they have to say about it is that it has too much power. show me a liter bike that doesn't have "too much power".
