Pasco deputy killed in motorcycle accident

A Pasco County Sheriff's Office deputy died in a motorcycle crash Friday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, deputy Aaron Buffardi crashed his motorcycle in the area of Fox Hollow and Little Road and was killed.
Buffardi has just purchased the bike and was on the way to show it to his colleagues at the time of the accident.
"The members of the sheriff's office are devastated," said Pasco County sheriff Bob White. "What a tragic, tragic loss. His family of course is devastated, but they can certainly be proud of their son, their husband and their father because he served with great distinction here."
Buffardi was working as a bailiff assigned to the New Port Richey courts. He served in the sheriff's office since 1997.
Deputy Aaron Buffardi was an 8-year veteran of the sheriff's office.
