Motorcycle accident kills St. Petersburg man
St. Petersburg, Florida - A young St. Petersburg man is dead after a motorcycle accident.
It happened before 10 this morning on I-275 at 54th Avenue north.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the motorcycle hit the rear-end of an s-u-v.
21 year old Andrew Salerno was thrown off his bike.
He was wearing a helmet, but he died at the scene.
