+1 on feeling better, you were the first person i talked to when i first got on TR, so now all this really hits home. If anyone is from spring hill they might remember Bret Feguson, he died right before his high school grad. An old lady pulled out in front of him, he was a good friend of mine. But that was like five or six years ago

Well the story goes like this:

Just picked my bike up from service at Cycle Springs in Palm Harbor off of US19 heading south on 19 at about 55mph im in the second lane from the right (ridin the left side of the lane like usual) passing that new "Alley Cats" Strip Club when I look over and im like "this bitch is guna pull out" sure enough right when i grab the brake she pulls right out into my lane, only thing i could think of to do was lift my right leg up onto the back seat cowl (if i hadnt it would have been crushed they say) and as soon as i was bout to hit i let go of the bike completely, ended up landing on her hood and rolling off of it..... looked up and saw my bike abut 65-75 ft down the road with plastic everywhere.... she started apologizing and i just went off, limping like a gimp over to my bike i realized it was fucked up pretty bad so i looked at the lady and said "one more word lady, and your going to die sooner then expected" she walked away and when the cops came thank god for witnesses or it would be some punk ass 20 yr old kid on a sport bike versus a 62 yr old ladies word......she admitted she was wrong and all but i believe if the witness wasnt there she wouldnt have....

Moral of the story is ride safe and ride careful and be alert...... always wear your helmets/gear guys..... ill take a pic of my helmet in a few and post it to show its no joke....my helmet saved me..... ATGATT!!!!
