Default who wrecked their bike about 4 years ago?

i was having a conversation with a buddy of mine today and we were talking about the time we were out racing one night when i had to haul a wrecked bike for someone.

we were out at a spot and i was in my ranger and a buddy of mine was one his bike. a guy came up with a bike and wanted to race my friend. i guess the guy was new to riding and had just gotten the bike about 2 weeks prior, so my friend said no. he offered to take the guys bike for a pass down the street and tell him if it would have beaten his bike or not. well he did and came back saying the the clutch handle was grabbing too far out, so he adjusted it and went to take it on another pass. this is where shit got interesting.

he adjusted the clutch handle too much and it grabbed really quickly... too quick for him. the front wheel came up and he was off. the bike got up to about 40mph and when he came down, hes angle on the road was way off. he ended up eating the side of a mercury mountaineer (4x4). his head was in between the front fender and the tire (thank god he was wearing a helmet.) and the bike was still running laying on top of him. he was alright and another friend took him home. the mercury was towed on a flatbed... after some convincing on the driver and we tossed the mangled bike in the bed of my ranger and i took it to the guys apartment.

i'm not sure who this was or if he's one here or if anyone knows what i'm talking about. i was just curious if anyone else remembered this.

i know it was a long time ago, but the people that were there would remember, it was a pretty good crash.
