Apparently some of the buddies I ride with made a video in HD of us out on the famous Mulholland Hwy in the Santa Monica Mountains, locally refered to as the Malibu Canyons. This road is used to shoot TV shows (SuperBikes, Super Cars Exposed) , commercials (some US and some foreign) and probably has been in some movies that I don't know about.

I make a cameo at 14 seconds, 1:49 and 2:33.

It was my first full day of "testing" out the new Stones and I knew they were taking videos of everyone, but I had no idea they were going to put together such a great vid with editing, music etc.

My big quote in the video is when they ask me what happened to my knee slider and of course my response "ugh, it happens?"

So close to draggin an elbow, but its going to be tough to do on a street tire... on the street!

Steve, those tires will do more than you think they will. Get your corner entry speed up a bit and you'll probably get that elbow down.... I've seen people do it up here on Pilot Roads, so you can gather from that alone that it is possible on a better tire. Your riding style is great man, keep up the good work!

But as I like to say, there's always tomorrow!

Pray hard, use your brain, dont' ride like an idiot, gear up to the MAX and hope for the best. Its a very risky hobby and there are no gurantees. You could be doing everything right and still not make it home alive!

Example: last week my buddy and I were riding together. On his way home, in a very tight canyon, a wasp flys into his $2,400 A* race suit and starts to sting him repeadetly, as he was trying to kill it, he lost control at very low speed and wrecked and got injured. Was he doing anything wrong? Just circumstances in this case.
