Jeez....all these "Testing Waters". What are you testing? the chemical balance? The tempature? or are you trying to sell a damn car?

I like the for sale rules that I have seen in other forums. Post a price, or your post is deleted. If you are 'testing waters', put some ridiculous high price and see if you get any offers via email or PM.

I can understand wanting to know what someone might pay for your car. But the problem is, this is a FOR SALE forum. I'd think a "What's it worth?" thread belongs in the General Car Forum.
Besides, how can anyone know what you'd get for your car. I might pay more than someone else. I'll quote you a higher number. But when it comes time to sell, I might not be looking. Then you're stuck trying to sell to some lowballer when you're suddenly desperate for cash.
