1980 Jeep Cj-5 Mudder $750
$750
Hey guys got one more car up for sale. Parents are making me sell all of my cars but one. This is the last one.
more pics at www.cardomain.com/id/mattsjc5
1980 Jeep CJ-5
GM 151ci motor.
Odometer says 16,xxx miles so it's prob actually 116,xxx.
This certainly isn't a clean looking CJ-5. I bought it for the specific intention of offroading it.
31" A/T tires w/spare
I think it has a one inch lift to fit the 31's
4WD works.
Following work had been done to it and I have receipts to prove it:
-Brand new clutch, pressure plate, pilot bearing, throwout bearing. also a brand new transfer case oil seal, $550
-Brand new starter, $35
-Brand new valve cover gasket, $8
-Brand new spark plugs, plug wires, and fuel filter, $25
-Spare tire, $25
-Aftermarket tachomoter
I took her mudding prob once a week or so and never really had any problems with her except that about 3 months agoshe started to have idle problems. It doesn't idle at the 800 rpms anymore. The only kind of idle i can get out of it is like 1000-1200 rpms. I was told that she just needs a carb rebuild and that will run you $21 bucks at autozone. I just don't have the motivation to do it myself since I am selling it. One more thing is that she smokes when you first start up cold. But after about 3-5 mins of driving it clears up about 85% of it.
Gets good gas mileage since it's a 4 cylinder but can still tear through mud like nothing. She's a good fun offroader and I have climbed things I've never thought I'd be able to climb in a vehicle.
Again I don't want to sell it and didn't have any plans to untill my parents gave me an ultimatum to sell all but one of my cars. My loss is your gain. Drive this bad boy home today!
ANY questions call me at 7277766232
