94 Hybrid Hatch
I'm thinking about selling my hatch. No real rush, but if the offer is right I'll probabbly bite.
Vital Stats:
-94 Honda Civic Cx Hatchback White (I have to check mileage, but I think it's 145k on body and approx 60-70k on motor)
-Complete swap to black interior
-96 GSR front leather
-94 JDM SIRII B16A - bone stock internals
-Del Sol dual core radiator
-Custom 3" Cold air intake
-99 GSR complete suspension (Energy Suspension Mounts) and 4 wheel disc brakes
-Koni adj. struts (the Neuspeed ones that are lower, 5 way height adjustable, and dampened harder)
-Neuspeed Sport Springs
-ES Oval Muffler sprayed flat black
-Aftermarket Cat, resonator and custom piping 2.25"
-HX wheels w/Potenza's
-seriously too much little stuff to list. I have all records of everything I have done.
-lots of extra parts and the Helms Manual
The car looks stock, drives exceptionally well and has a punch for a stock b16.
The Story:
I'm the third owner of this hatch. My friend Kris (not a car guy) owned it from early 95, until I bought it a couple years back. I swapped everything in my front yard w/friends and all Honda parts and fluids. There is no Carfax accidents reported on the car, but the owner before Kris covered up a small front fender bender and left the small underdamage. I pulled it out. The car gives me no problems. I takes and takes all the abuse I can muster up and has never griped back. Last compression test was at high end of spec. Many people do not believe that the car is stock, but I assure that it is, it just happens to be a quick B16. I picked up the motor when I was in Cali visiting JP of AEM. I hand picked it from JDM Honda part with the help of the owner Sheng. The car is fast and solid. And up until a couple of weeks ago had cold AC (I will fix soon). The paint on the sides and back of car is in really good shape. The roof, hood and front bumper could use a new spray, but they are not horrible by any stretch.
People will ask why I sell the thing if it is so damn great. Well my friends, I'm getting old and I need something new, quiet and boring.
All work not done by myself has been performed by Neal Sutton (N and S Racing) and Colin (Racing Integration). They are great!
I'm not sure what the car is worth this second, but I would assume that a clean, great running hatch that has been put together right would go for at least $5,500.
If you are interested, please call my cell 813-892-3656. I'm almost never on TR, so I won't get a chance to respond anytime soon. I'll set up a time for whomever wants to look at it.
Thanks,
Neil
