Default 1998 Ford Contour SVT ($3800) PRICE DROP woah.

Well, since I've got a new project, it is time to sell the daily driver. The car has 98K miles on it (about middle of the road for an SVT), and is in good condition.

These are tough cars to find, and this one runs incredibly. A Brand New Spec Stage I Clutch was installed by the previous owner approximately 6 months ago.

The audio/video was installed last month, all new equipment. A Pioneer P5700-DVD 6.5" Flip-out DVD Player, with Infinity Kappa 5x8's in the doors and a 15" MBQuart Sub, all powered by a Kicker 700.5 5 Channel Amp. This system sounds incredibly clear.

The 18" OZ Chrono's are impossible to find anymore, since they have been discontinued, and were already expensive to begin with. The tires have about 60% tread left, if not more.

The interior is in perfect condition, and I've never had any mechanical problems with the car.

There is some paint chipping above the handle of the rear driver's side door, but that is an easy fix. The front grill and yellowed headlights could be replaced with a new set off of ebay for approx. $200.

$6100 OBO w/ rims and audio
$5100 OBO w/ stock rims and cd player (keep the door speakers, but everything would need to be re-wired)

NEW Pricing: Priced to sell!
$4700 w/ rims and audio
$3800 w/ stock rims AND audio

bump, use to be my car (Arsenal) not sure if the exhaust has been changed out, but when I sold it, it had the best sounding exhaust I have ever had.

I really miss that car.

Very very nice handling, and pretty quick!

Good price for a very clean car.

I spent $1100 on a new clutch for it as stated, new throw out bearing and slave cylinder aswell

Not really looking for trades but I'd consider a bike along with a good chunk of cash. I just picked up a RHD Silvia, and need to pay myself back a little.

Thanks man.. keep in mind, that its got a little work to make it 100%. Respray that section of weak paint that chipped (smaller than a stick of gum), new grill and headlights. Then you'll be good to go.
