F/s F/t 90 VW Corrado G60 Supercharged
ALright guys just seeing if there is any interest in this rare V Dub. The story:
Picked it up from a lady whos husband passed away over a year ago. Car was not running when I got it and had sat for almost two years. I got the car running now pretty damn good considering it sat for two years
I replaced the fuel pump and cleaned the tank (it was nasssttyy) and the car started right up! I also did I basic tune up (Seafoam,oil,plugs,etc...) and the car runs very well now. Also the lady gave me reciepts of labor and parts that her husband had done amounting to thousands of dollars.
The car:
1990 VW Corrado G60
1.8ltr 8v Supercharged/intercooled
Just turned over 100k miles
5 speed
Working A/C
Mint Cloth/leather interior except one rip in drivers seat
Minnor things that need replacing/fixing:
Fan does not come on, possibly the switch or relay, both are cheap
Temp gauge does not work, most likely the sensor, also cheap
Highly recomend Coolant and radiator flush, not very expensive
Paint is faded and chipping in some places
One of the tires loses air over a couple day period
Pass seatbelt does not work, auto one only, you can still use the lap belt
Also the new fuel pump I put in did not have a place to mount the gas gauge meter so the gas gauge does not work, gets 300+ miles on full tank
