as far as the tax thing buying a 99 altima for 1k is alot doff then buying a 2006 honda for 2k on the title, it will get flagged by the tax revenue office and the buyer will get a letter, i sold a mgb for 500$ to a close friend a year later he got a letter threatening to suspend his drivers lic unless he paid the proper tax amount on the undervalued car , i had to get a notrized letter for him to send back that the car was not ruinng and sold for parts. thats the only way he got around it.
BTW if she gave you the altima for free why didnt you just write gift on the title , instead of 1k and avoid paying any taxes at all. ?

Alright guys this is going to be my final offer on the car.. I'am going to let it go for $13,500 .... Whomever wants a great deal. This is it... It may not have that many options. But that kinda stuff you can upgrade later.. When are you ever going to find a 2006 vehicle ( for this price ) $13,500 and its YOURS. I just went from $14,800 to $13,500.. I'am not going any lower then that.
If you're interested let me knw A.S.A.P.....
