why wonder, when you can try it for yourself, every set up is different. if i tell you no, and you do it and yours lag i dont know what to tell you, i dont drive cars with turbo lag. mines all built right not ghetto like most, just stating the truth. If you want another answer go ask the tech forum, they seem to be pros in there lol.

i remember this car. i almost bought it 4 years back. its a sweet car, for a t88 it doesnt lag much at all, the porting in the motor really helps. iirc hits full boost at 4500 in 2nd gear. worth the money, have you tried selling it on the rx7club? youll get what your asking for it there or close atleast.

porting doesnt help much with spool, it helps more with top end. the turbo will have a decent amount of lag, but will make up for it with brute force. On 19 inch rims it will be a tire fire, even on pump gas and 15 pounds. beautiful car, someone will be one very lucky owner.
