hey, up for sale (cash only) is a 1986 560SL Mercedes Roadster Convertible (hard top and soft top). pretty good condition, no rust, no dents, minor weather scratches from age (its a 20 year old car).

i just got it back from the mercedes benz dealership and they ran a diagnostic (have receipt). theres something wrong with the c. converter. dont know what it is but this is what it says on the receipt:

"VERIFIED PROBLEM. CHECK ENGINE OIL FOUND FUEL IN ENGINE OIL. CHECK SPARKPLUG FOUND LOOSE AND AFTERMARKET SPARK PLUGS. CHECK IGNITION DIST. CAPAND ROTOR OK. FOUND 02SENSOR AND EXHAUST DAMAGED. CAR RUN RICH, EXHAUST VERY HOT COULD CAUSE CAR ON FIRE. CAR NOT SAFETY DRIVER. CUST DECLINE WORK."

so. thought i'd see how much it could go for.. i know im targetting the wrong croud but i thought id give it a shot.. tell your parents?

oh yea, by the way. power everything, eveything works, is 100% working except for whatever is wrong with the engine. the only other thing is the AC needs to be recharged

 

best bet to selling an old mercedes take this from me ok i sold a 1983 benz ok not many people are in the market for an old benz, you best bet is to take a sign and put it in your front window and pake in a croweded parking lot for a ocuple days i promise to god you will get bites ok!!! best bet try publix there always busy!

 

How much are you looking for this SL? any Rust on this car? Ever been in a wreck?

well a perfectly running one at about the same mileage as mine will go for about $12,000. so i dont know.

 

swap in a chevy 350 or something along those lines.
