1964 Pontiac Catalina 455 FS/FT
The time has come to move on to another project. Up for sale here is my project car, a '64 Catalina 2-door coupe (think of it as a GTO in formal wear). It has the usual rust where the roof meets the fenders in the back and around the wheelwells/trunk.
The good:
all chrome/stainless present and intact
1976 Grand Prix 455, th400 transmission, longtube headers
all original glass, uncracked and crystal clear
all window regulators and handles replaced
gas tank is in good shape, needs to be cleaned out and reinstalled
The bad:
does not run...yet
trunk floor is holier than the Pope
floorpans have minor rust, nothing that can't be patched easily
The new:
Where do I start?
Holley 670 street avenger carb
Edelbrock performer intake manifold, custom machined stainless bolts
anodized aluminum carb throttle bracket
B&M electronic kickdown for TH400
Pertronix electronic distributor points eliminator conversion (properly installed and shimmed)
K&N 3" filter w/xtreme flow lid
Uninstalled new stuff:
dual zone master cyl
rear wheel cylinders
Scarebird disk brake brackets
Grant Pontiac wooden steering wheel (original and cheapo wheel I found in my garage included)
I'm sure I am leaving a lot of things out, I've also got plenty of uninstalled new parts to go with the car. Both the truck wheels/trim rings and the original 14" steelies with the original hubcaps will be included.
Some pictures for your review:
The worst of the rust:

Some video slideshows of the car since I've owned it:
Part I
Part II
Part III
$2500 OBO Might trade for something RWD ONLY. Buyer will have to pick up, I don't have a way to ship it. I'm located in Tampa, FL 33629...right about in the middle of the state.
Thanks for looking!
