Call it what kind of day? A day you put an even less reliable engine into it?
944T's are absolutely incredible cars. I had the pleasure of owning one for a while and is one of my favorite cars ever. If I had the time/space to take on a project I'd buy this in a heartbeat.
Working on Porsches are a huge pain in the dick, but they repay you with how awesome they are to drive.

so i guess you've never owned a rotory?
i have and daily drove a mild bridge ported 13b for several years with NO problems... the key in which most people do not do is to keep it cool ie. e-fan...
running rebuilt rotory engine 500bux + custom mounts 100bux + tranny 100bux and a little build time 1 weekend = great car... end of story!

Are you negotiable? Based on the pictures it looks like it needs a steering wheel and a rear bumper possibly front parking lights and a door panel. Did i miss anything. Do you have all accesories for the engine ? (Alt,ps pump etc)
Other than the steering wheel what would prevent the car from driving if i put a used complete motor in?

fronts lights an side makers dont have( was going for the lambo look)LOLO!! AIR FLOW DESIGN.
Door panels I have extra there in ok shape
motor still in tack(pully's an timing belt were remove have all parts)
a GOOD used motor would get it running with no problem.
