honestly settling it like a man would just be chilling out and not doin stupid shit like fighting which would only make yourself comparable to highschool children that think they have something to prove. If your uderage, fighting is still stupid, but doesnt carry the consequences that being over 18 would carry. so really your comparing a man to a teenager. +1 on your part.
