but u said good amount of torque? i used to have one of this too..
115hp with 122 ft/lbs.. kinda slow like a single cam civic..
and 2 valves per cylinder.

For what it is, it makes good torque. I'm not saying it hauls ass or anything. I had a single cam eg civic before and I wasn't a huge fan of it. They make about the same power on paper but with the single cam civic I had to rev it to pretty much redline to keep up with traffic and look like an asshole in the process. This car on the other hand makes that same power at about 3000 rpms instead of 30,000rpms. So for daily driving, I like it a lot better.
I see nothing wrong with it being an 8v motor, it's simple and they run forever.
....anyways if you want to see the difference yourself, you should buy it!

I liked my old 8v 2.0 in my mk3 golf sport. Great on gas, gets out of its own way, and doesn't sound like a weed whacker while doing it. bump
