true, they are ugly. The reason i said that about the cooling is because darton sleeves along with a block guard is known for having cooling issues because theres not much room for the collant to flow.

I love your car man... just want it to last feel me? its pretty easy to remove a block guard unless its welded, but its usually aluminum.
Here ill let you research it yourself.
