FS/FT: Silver 1989 Honda Civic Hatch 5spd, project car. $1000 OBO
Okay, first of all, I am going to be COMPLETELY honest in this ad. I've owned this car 1 day exactly. I bought it planning to make it a nice car again, but I'm realizing I need more cash to get this how I want. Right now, the cars a POS. Yes, I'm selling the car, I'm not gonna bullshit you this car is a Piece of S***. It needs body work, new muffler, new windshield (insurance should cover this though), a good cleaning, and other small things. I knew the original owner, and he babyed this thing. However, the guy I bought it from, trashed it, to the point where 2 months ago it needed a new motor and tranny.
But it's a good car, with TONS of potential. Its got full custom suspension, JDM SiR conversion, minor ricer engine work (exhaust, intake, ect), tints, Carbon fiber hood, racing steering wheel (lol), Alpine head unit, some ricer Acura rims, walmart shirt knob, and other ricer stuff.
Miles on the motor are around 30k, its only 2 months old and the guy has had a suspened license so he couldn't drive it much anyways. Body has around 200k or so. Motor came out of a wrecked 97 Civic I believe, its a D16B7 or something like that. And the tranny is new too, its a new one for a CRX Si. (not rebuilt) Over all, its a good car, with tons of potential. Sell this good motor, put a B18 in it or something, and a turbo and minor engine work, and for around 2.5k have a really nice car. Or get it as a first car for someone, it seems very reliable. Anyways, down to the point:
THE GOOD-
-Reliable, 30k engine and tranny
-Good suspension
-JDM SiR front end conversion
-Fun as hell to drive
-Perfect to fix up
-It's an Si!!!! Hard to find these, most ricers have a DX or something.
-Comes with spare tires and rims.
THE BAD-
-Needs windshield, but insurance covers it so no biggie
-Needs tires, but custom tires and rims are like $400 on craigslist, sell the old ones for $150
-Its pretty beat, needs work
-Needs body work (including front right fender)
-Overall needs TLC. Put <$500 into this car, and it will look great! (Fix dings, get body panel from junk yard, clean her up inside and out, put some walmart tires on it for cheap, paint rims or get new ones)
-No P/s, A/c
